GCF Annual Events

For over 45 years, the Golden Civic Foundation has helped to build a lively downtown, thriving economy and strong connection with our community. In addition to this community support, the Golden Civic Foundation hosts two primary fundraising/friend-raising events per year that include:

The 42nd Annual Gala and Auction… for more than 42 years, the Golden Civic Foundation’s Annual Gala & Auction has been the event of the year for active members of the Golden community who love our town. This year’s annual Gala & Auction will take place on Saturday, November 11th at the Marriott Denver West beginning at 5pm and will include dinner, a cash bar, exciting live and silent auctions and musical entertainment by the always-rocking Six Million Dollar Band.

This event is the primary fundraiser for the Golden Civic Foundation’s Grant Program and more than $5.2 million that has been raised over the past 45 years has been reinvested back into the Golden community to support charitable organizations, public schools, museums and cultural centers in the greater Golden area. Tickets will go on sale in September.

The Golden Summer Jam…  a new summertime event designed to connect with Golden families and residents, promote community involvement and celebrate Golden’s small town friendly atmosphere. In 2017, the inaugural Golden Summer Jam was held on Friday, July 14th at the Buffalo Rose from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. It featured live music by local Golden bands, food and was fun for all ages!
