2026 Golden Frontier Gala
Golden Civic Foundation Presents:
51st Annual Gala and Auction
Saturday, October 24, 2026
VIP Reception 5:00 PM | General Reception 5:30 PM
The Golden Frontier Gala celebrates the grit that build Golden, the generosity that sustains it, and the shared commitment shaping its future.
From frontier pioneers and risk-takers to today’s entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and civic champions, Golden has always been defined by those willing to invest in something larger than themselves. The Gala convenes 300+ business leaders, philanthropists, elected officials, and community members for an evening of connection, storytelling, and meaningful impact.
The 2026 B.I.G. Idea Grant will support BGOLDN’s work addressing food insecurity in Golden. Selected annual by the GCF Board, this transformational grant is the centerpiece of the Gala’s Paddle Raise and invests in bold initiatives that create measurable, community-wide impact.

What to Expect
Every year, Golden Civic Foundation (GCF) brings together the Golden community for a purpose-driven celebration rooted in a tradition of collaboration and local impact.
As we celebrate this year’s landmark anniversaries—Colorado’s 150th birthday and our nation’s 250th birthday—we’re reminded of the pioneers who built the town we love. Grit, generosity, and civic duty are still woven throughout the fabric of Golden today. Join us for an elegant evening inspired by Golden’s pioneer legacy and modern-day changemakers.
Guests will enjoy:
· Seated dinner service with a delicious choice of entrees, including vegan and gluten free options.
· An open bar with premium cocktails and beer. Cash bar also available.
· Live & silent auctions, with all proceeds supporting GCF’s community programming.
· A high-energy paddle raise benefitting this year’s B.I.G. Idea recipient, BGOLDN.
· Lively programming: entertainment, storytelling, and dancing (obviously!)
Our VIP guests will be invited to an intimate VIP Reception before the General Reception with music, small bites, and cocktails.
Live & Silent Auctions
Bid on a curated selection of unique western-themed silent auction experiences and items—each one a chance to take home a piece of the Golden Frontier spirit. The live auction will include high-value packages including a premium vacation for the whole family. All proceeds support GCF's Community Impact Grant Program.

Paddle Raise
GCF invites guests to raise their paddle in support of a bold, community-centered initiative selected annually by our Board of Directors. This year’s B.I.G. (Big Ideas in Golden) Grant recipient and the focus of our paddle raise is BGOLDN.
Everyday, our neighbors are faced with the choice between meeting daily needs and feeding their families. BGOLDN works to take the burden of food insecurity off the table. Funding generated from the paddle raise will support their efforts to deliver fresh, healthy food to students and families in Golden.
