How would you like Golden to look in 10-20 years?

I’ve lived in a few places in my life, and I like the way Golden is - slow, but steady population expansion. Ongoing investment and improvement in commercial sectors. Solid private-public partnerships. Competent local government. Open space protection. I generally like the direction we’ve gone and would like to continue in that direction.

What are the elements that strike you as most significant for our community?

The strong local government. Community oriented traditions such as Buffalo Bill Days, Candlelight Walk, Goldens in Golden and the Golden Arts Festival.

When have you felt proud to be connected to GCF?

At the gala when they announce all the Golden-based non-profits GCF supports.

In your opinion, what is the most impactful service/program we offer and why is that important to you?

The non-profit grant program.

Tell us about the most meaningful gift you've made to GCF.

My wife and I have supported the GCF through donations made to the Gala, specifically in support of the Gala entertainment for the past several year.

As a seasoned business owner, how do you know that your philanthropy investments meet your objectives?

Generally by when we see the community thrive and specifically when we receive financial impact data.
