GET READY FOR A ROARING GOOD TIME!

We’re gonna party like it’s 1929 at the Golden Civic Foundation’s 42nd Annual Auction and Gala on November 11, 2017 at the Denver West Marriott!

Be ready to enjoy a night of Gin and Jazz (relatively speaking) at this year’s Auction and Gala, themed “The Gloomchaser’s Speakeasy.” We dove into Golden history and are taking you back in time to catch a glimpse of this ‘Decade of Decadence’ in Golden. Shine your spats and don your finest flapper flare for this Roaring 20s-themed Auction and Gala, complete with bathtub gin and bawdy jazz. The “Gloomchaser’s Speakeasy: A Night of Gin and Jazz” begins at 5pm and will include dinner, a cash bar, exciting live and silent auctions and, of course, we’re bringing back the always-rocking Six Million Dollar Band for the After Party that starts at 9pm.

This event is sure to be the party of the century, the last century that is! Tickets are $125 per person or $1,150 for a table of 10. They will be available for purchase on our website during the first week of October.

Support the Cause!

This event is the primary fundraiser for the Golden Civic Foundation’s grant program. Through the contributions of many businesses and individuals in our community, the Golden Civic Foundation has provided more than $5.2 million over the past 45 years to support charitable organizations, public schools, museums and cultural centers in the greater Golden area. The 2016 event set all-time records for highest attendance (more than 425 attendees) and most funds raised and the proceeds of $100,000 were distributed to the Golden community via 40 grants to local nonprofit organizations.

Contribute An Item To The Auction

Please consider donating an auction item!

We’re always looking for donations of airline tickets, vacation getaways, sporting event tickets, electronic equipment, or anything else that would make a fantastic prize. If you have direct access to such treasures or have a contact that can be approached about donations, contact any Civic Foundation board member!

Auction items have always covered a wide range in values, from individual books to original paintings; gift certificates for local businesses to antique automobiles; packages of stationery to all-inclusive vacation packages.

If you’d like to contribute an auction item, please contact Julie Behrens, Assistant Director at Julie@GoldenCivicFoundation.org!
