Mark your calendar for Golden Summer Jam 2022
on Thursday, June 23rd!
The Golden Civic Foundation is proud to announce our 5th Annual Golden Summer Jam, presented by Miners Saloon, on Thursday, June 23rd from 5:30 to 9:30pm at the beautiful Colorado Railroad Museum outdoor pavilion and grounds. This community-oriented event features fun for all ages including live music, family-oriented activities and great food and beer. Guests can also explore the Museum’s scenic, 15-acre railyard that is home to more than 100 locomotives, enjoy a ride on a vintage passenger train and delight in the charm of a fully operational miniature garden railway. Several Golden-based non-profit organizations will also be on site with fun activities and to provide more information on their organizations. And, food and beverage from local vendors will be available.
We’re thrilled to announce this year’s Golden-based “line-up” to be: The Shawn Nelson Band (Country/Americana), The Alcapones (reggae/SKA) with guest, Luke Smith, owner of Coda Brewing, on the djembe drum, and Adam Kinghorn (of Bluegrass band Head for the Hills) and Friends.
Tickets will go on sale in early June and are $30 for adults, free for youth under 18 (maximum of two free per family) and $8 per additional youth ticket. Each adult ticket includes one complimentary New Terrain beer. Ticket prices have been intentionally set at a reasonable price to encourage involvement from Golden residents of all ages. The event, which is a community “friendraiser” and fundraiser, benefitting the Foundation’s community programming, typically sells out quickly.
For local business interested in sponsoring this event, please contact Julie Bartos, Director of Community Impact at Julie@GoldenCivicFoundation.org with any inquiries or for more information.
