Marv Kay is an Emeritus Professor of Physical Education and Athletics at the Colorado School of Mines. After serving at The Colorado School of Mines for 38 years as Head Football coach and Director of Athletics, he retired in 2004 and has since served as a member of the Mines’ Foundation fundraising staff. He received the school’s Mines Medal for distinguished service in 2003 and was named the Faculty’s Distinguished Lecturer in 2004.
