Nancy Pattridge Waring grew up in Golden and her father Fred Pattridge was one of the founding fathers of the Golden Civic Foundation in 1970. Her grandfather Paul Pattridge owned a cattle ranch 5 miles north of Golden and was also very involved in the growth of the Golden community. She is married to Bruce and has 2 grown son’s Erik and Evan.
Nancy has a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Creighton University and worked as an RN at Lutheran Medical for many years. She then received a Masters degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado and worked as a Nurse Practitioner. She currently has her own business and works as a school nurse consultant for five Catholic Schools on the west side of town and 2 pre-schools in Golden. She also volunteers for the American Red Cross and teaches CPR and First Aid Training classes.
Nancy’s claim to fame is being a sophomore member of the Golden Girl’s High School Basketball team in 1976 when they won the first ever Colorado Girl’s State Basketball Championship!!
Nancy is so excited to be a part of the Golden Civic Foundation as a board member, and is honored to be working with such a great organization. She has a vested interest in the Golden community that she grew up in. She is passionate about helping to keep the Golden community vibrant and moving forward.
