“For my 18 years as Fire Chief for the City of Golden, the Fire Department has established a true partnership with the Golden Civic Foundation. We have supported the annual Gala by offering the always popular “Spend a Day with the Firefighters” auction item. This partnership has allowed us to introduce our operation to various folks in the community and, more importantly, has raised funds for grants to various groups within our community. Golden Fire has been a recipient of many GCF grants which have enabled us to purchase technical rescue equipment, personal protective equipment and medical equipment such as AED’s to assist in reducing cardiac deaths. We are very proud to be a partner with the Golden Civic Foundation and look forward to many more years of working together to make Golden a great place to live, work and play.”
