The Golden Civic Foundation introduced the BIG Ideas in Golden Grant program in the summer of 2021 and a citizen advisory committee selected the Golden Fire Department’s Volunteer Art Tribute as the “Paddle Raise” beneficiary at our annual Gala & Auction. During the Gala, and in partnership with Golden Fire Department and City representatives, Gala guests donated $60,000 of the needed $157,000 to complete the project.
